Ranch Equipment Inc. Shipping Policy

General Information

  • Ranch Equipment LLC. has a standard 30-day return policy on most items. Some items are not returnable. All returned items must be shipped in their original package and should be clean, unused and undamaged.

  • Check your freight before you sign off with the driver. If it’s damaged don’t sign for it.

  • Please follow the instructions below to receive a Return Authorization Number and prepaid return shipping label.

  • There is a 15% return processing fee for all returns. The processing fee for returned items that ship by freight will include a freight shipping cost deduction.

  • Our customer service is available for any questions you have. Please email us for prompt answers to any questions.

Explanation of Shipping Terms

  • In Stock - Ready to Ship: All orders will ship within 48 business hours from various vendors with multiple locations throughout the US, with lead times indicated directly on the product page.

  • Shipping Note: Large or heavy items that must be shipped by freight carrier will have a shipping note attached once they are placed in your cart that explains the shipping process for these items. A shipping specialist will reach out once the order has been placed to discuss your freight shipping options and provide you with an accurate shipping cost.

Please note that items with longer lead times will be called out on their product pages. Call us for details, or with any questions.

Location-Based Shipping Restrictions

  • Alaska, Hawaii, other US territories are exempt from free shipping offers and not available to ship at this time.

  • PO Box, APO, AFO, FPO, DPO and AFP shipping addresses cannot be fulfilled at this time as we must have a physical address that can be reached by FedEx.

  • International orders cannot be placed at this time.

Expedited Shipping

  • To receive your item sooner, please contact us and we will give you as many options available.

Freight Delivery

Large and heavy items are shipped using a common carrier freight truck. Our shipping specialists will contact you when your order is placed to discuss your freight quote.

When scheduling your delivery:

  1. You must provide a valid phone number so the delivery company can reach you.

  2. If you cannot be reached for your delivery, the delivery company will charge additional storage fees or return the shipment.

  3. If the shipment is returned due to non-receipt, you will be charged additional shipping fees and it will result in the delayed arrival of your shipment.

  4. Freight orders cannot be expedited.

  5. Freight deliveries require access to a loading dock , unloading equipment or capable persons to unload the shipment from or truck. If that is not possible, a lift gate service can be added for an additional fee.

When receiving your delivery:

  1. Inspect it immediately for damage and to make sure all items are present.

  2. Note all damage and/or missing items on the receipt before signing and accepting the delivery.

  3. If you are unable to inspect your shipment when it is delivered, write “DAMAGED” on the receipt before signing as the freight company receives no penalties unless a claim is submitted

  4. Sign the receipt and make sure you receive a copy for your records.

  5. Call our customer service representatives immediately to report any damage or missing items so they can start the claim process for damaged goods, or track down your missing items at the freight terminal.

  6. If missing items are not found, the claim process will pay for replacement products.

Please note that Ranch Equipment LLC cannot be held liable for damaged or missing items that are not noted on the delivery receipt.

General Information

Ranch Equipment LLC has a 30-day return policy on most items. Some items are not returnable. All returned items must be shipped in their original package and should be clean, unused and undamaged. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping returned items back.

Please note that the original shipping cost for all returning items is non-refundable as that service has already been performed.

Prior to Initiating a Return

If you wish to initiate a return, please read through the following questions beforehand. These questions will give you an idea of how eligible your item is for a refund and assist your customer service representative when you call to initiate a return.

  • Did the item arrive in acceptable condition?

  • Do you have the ability to send photos of the product and/or packaging?

  • Do you have the original packaging? And if so, will the original packaging be sufficient to repack the item and send it back without damage?

  • Did you use the item, and if so, was the item damaged during usage? If the item was damaged during usage, no return will be initiated, and no refund will be issued. Photos may be requested prior to an RA being issued.

Please note that we will only issue a refund for an item that arrives back to us in new condition, in the original carton. If you choose to pay to send the item back and it arrives in an unacceptable condition, no refund will be issued.

We photograph return packages as they arrive, as part of our standard Returns process. We ask that you take photos of the item before and after repackaging it to facilitate identification of damage that occurred during transit back to us.

Return Instructions

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please follow the steps below:.

  1. Request a Return Authorization Number. Please note that we may request photos before a return will be authorized, and we do not accept returns without a Return Authorization Number.

  2. *Customer service hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday C.S.T

  3. .Take Photos of the Product Before Shipping. This allows us to confirm that the product arrives in the same state you shipped it.

  4. Package the Item for Shipping. Pack it securely to prevent damage.

  5. Take Photos of the Packaged Product Prior to Shipping. This allows us to confirm that no damage occurs to the packaging in transit.

  6. Ship the Package Back to Us. Ship the item with a reputable shipping company that will provide you with tracking and insurance for your shipment. You must provide us with a valid tracking number to receive any refund.

  7. Email Your Tracking Number and Photos. The tracking number will be used to confirm that your package arrives and prevent delays in the returns process.

  8. Wait to Receive Your Refund. You will be credited within 5 business days after we receive your item and inspect it. If the item is found to be unused and in good working order we will issue a refund of the item price back to the original form of payment. Please note that the original shipping cost is non refundable, as the shipping service has already been performed.

Return Restrictins: Certain products fall under the return policy of that manufacturer and may be subject to a slightly different return process. Your customer service representative will discuss this with you when you call to receive your Return Authorization Number.

Certain products are Non-Refundable and/or Non-Returnable. Please refer to the product page for final sale indication.

Ranch Equipment Inc. reserves the right to modify these lists, and update our returns policy, at any time.

Restriction Definitions

  • Non-refundable/non-returnable: The sale is final. The product is not eligible for a full or partial refund. Due to the nature of the product and/or the potential for damage during shipping, the customer must dispose of the product at their discretion instead of shipping it back to us.

  • Non-refundable: The sale is final. Even if the product is returned to us, it is not eligible for a full or partial refund.

  • Non-returnable: The product is eligible for a full or partial refund if the conditions of our Returns Policy (as stated above) are met. Due to the nature of the product and/or the potential for damage during shipping, the customer must dispose of the product at their discretion instead of shipping it back to us.
